The drinks were top-notch; expertly crafted cocktails that added to the overall experience.For dinner, my wife ordered the skirt steak, and I went with the grouper. Both dishes were absolutely phenomenal—perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. The seasoning was spot-on, letting the quality of the ingredients shine through. But the real showstopper? The Parmesan risotto. Creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor—it was honestly one of the best sides I’ve ever had.The ambience tied everything together: warm lighting, great music, and a design that makes you want to stay and soak it all in. Whether you’re out for a date night, celebrating something special, or just exploring great food in San Juan, La O delivers on all fronts.We left completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. Excellent dinner!! Don’t hesitate for a moment! My favorite meal in PR, been here a month. We are off the tapas menu plus a pizza and everything was excellent. My favorite was the stuffed mushrooms! Wow. Great flavor. But everything was sooo good! Service was absolutely excellent

Such a great spot. Have no idea why I missed it before. Cocktails are top notch We tried 7 of them and all were so balanced and so good (10 of 10 and believe me I am suuuuuper picky). It was late night so we tried only calamari and I always hate to much breading; to overcooked; super deep fried, but they were delicious and juicy. Sauce was great too, fresh and creamy. And service was amazing from point A (greeting at the door) and till all bar and staff service. Yarilis, our bartender, was amazing. So thoughtful and bright person. She made great recommendations and just made our evening. Definitely recommend this space. You won’t be disappointed.

Visited with local friends and had a refreshing experience in both food & drinks and enthusiastic service. All we ordered was on point; food and drinks. These people do care. Beautiful ambiance inside.

The food was amazing! Service was exceptional. We had the stuffed mushrooms with chorizo, lamb sliders, and grouper with risotto. We made a reservation ahead of time and they called to confirm that afternoon. We got right in and had a pleasant experience.We enjoyed a nice walk around old San Juan after since it's centrally located.

La Ó's food is out of this world. My brother took me here for my birthday and everything ordered was outstanding. I recommend the Lavender She Rose Cocktail and you cannot leave without trying their Pumpkin Lasagna.

This restaurant was recommended to us by two local Puerto Ricans. Three of us loved our dinners here last night. We started with a fantastic pina colada and a tangy sangria which I preferred to the very sweet versions.Highly recommend the garlic shrimp and hummus appetizer / it was amazing! For mains the vegan pumpkin lasagna was very tasty and so unusual. The grouper fish in risotto, served with a fruit sauce, was our favor- even better than the vegetarian pizza with goat cheese and balsamic.Service was excellent throughout our meal. The entire staff was attentive. Shout-out to Adriana, who was very gracious and helpful throughout our meal.Note: Visitors cannot park on the streets in Old San Juan. You must park in a garage or lot.
